Torfenster systems (India) Pvt. Ltd, incorporated in 2008 by family members and produces world class uPVC windows for the growing market of India. Started with the production capacity of 50 windows per day in 2008 and with 100% growth rate every year and reached at a production capacity of 350 to 400 windows per day in 2013. Torfenster is having state of art fabrication facility spread in around 45000 sq.ft. with fully automatic machines and over 125 employees. With its widest range and definitive hardware quality, Torfenster has grown to be the largest and most trusted brand in its field.

Thanks to its extensive dealer network, Torfenster manages to reach to the customer anywhere in India and provides considerable added value to uPVC Industry. Today with a manufacturing capacity of 400 windows/day, and operations spread over more than 20 cities Torfenster is capable of handling any task, no matter how big it is.

Torfenster manufactures uPVC profiles in Europe and are compatible with various standards such as RAL, DIN, ASTM, BS, GHOST, CSTB, KIWA, TSE and many more. Consistency in the quality is maintained by its stringent standard set by mutual understanding between European and Indian engineers. Profiles are used in diverse climatic conditions extending from Dubai to Siberia, and thus have proved their sustainable quality in the -70°C and +60°C temperature ranges. With the fact that the UV resistence of its profiles are extremely high, Torfenster has been preferred and accepted everywhere in the world.

Why Torfenster ?

Maximum Wind Resistance : Torfenster uPVC window and door systems are ideal for being installed in buildings close to the sea, where they are exposed to strong winds, heavy rain and salty water. All indows and door systems can take a wind pressure of 2400PA(appox. 230km per hr.) Tests specified in BS (British Standard) 5368, Part 3 1978.

Maximum Water Tightness : One of the main assets of Torfenster window and door systems is their resistance to driving rain & their joint tightness. They are designed to be water tight when tested up to 300PA, limit specified in BS 3675 performance of windows part 1 1989, classification for weather tightness.

Energy Efficient : Torfenster uPVC window and door systems are excellent thermal insulators. It can save energy up to 30% of energy requirement.

Thermal Insulation : Torfenster uPVC profiles are multi chambered section, provided with unique double seal mechanism, multi point locking system and good combination of glass, makes the window perfectly sealed and thereby reduces energy loss.

High Acoustic / Sound insulation The protection against noise is an essential characteristic of a modern window, in order to ensure a comfortable life both at home and in office. Torfenster uPVC windows and doors insulates up to 40 db which comes up to the German DIN standard for sound insulation Class 5, DIN 4109

Developed to have a multi- chambered sections, provided with unique double seal mechanism, multipoint locking systems and a good combination of glass makes windows perfectly sealed and thereby reduces energy loss.
With its outstanding thermal insulation properties. the TorFenster Systems energy-saving window provides both exclusivity and a sense of well-being. TorFenster Systems energy-saving windows allow you to save up to 35% of your previous energy requirements when replacing your old windows with new ones.
Like any other product, uPVC windows have several life cycle stages viz, extraction of raw materials, extrusion of window profiles, assembly of window, transportation, usage, recycling and disposal. The study explain that usage phase in window life cycle contribute highest energy consumption. The study also reveals that energy consumption figures in the stages of extraction and production of materials are considerably high for aluminium windows compared of uPVC.
UPVC windows not only save energy but also reduce emission of green house gases. The life cycle study displayed that CO2 emission due to pvc windows is 62% less than aluminium window and 17% less than wooden windows.

52mm Openable Window

• Second most efficient window. Casement windows are the second most energy-efficient, after fixed-pane windows. The window sash presses against the frame on closing, creating an airtight seal. This helps prevent air entry and leakage.

The system can manufacture enormous door sash height upto 10 feet and width upto 10 feet.

• Very easy to operate upto 300 kg sash weight.
• The installation depth of 174mm for frames, and the door sash of 62mm that can match with 12 to 20mm, 23 to 28mm & 32 to 38mm glass, enhance the dynamic and static stability and strength of wind pressure resist.
• It makes drainage easier for the window to use two chamber structure. independent drainage front chamber and the classical drainage guiding slope glazing rebate.
